A Wyoming Kid at Heart

Born & Raised in Wyoming | Nací y Crecí en Wyoming

I’m a proud first-generation American, born and raised in Wyoming. My story started on the corner of 36th and Michael, where I learned what it meant to grow up in a working-class. I went to Oriole Park Elementary, spent parts of high school at Rogers, and graduated through Grandville Public Schools. Sundays were for the 28th Street Flea Market with my family, and every summer I looked forward to the Metro Cruise festival, watching the cars roll down the street and feeling the city come alive.

After graduating from Ferris State University, I started my career in non-profit and later served as a staffer in the U.S. House of Representatives. I’ve worked across Michigan protecting voting rights, expanding ballot access, and defending our democracy because I know what’s at stake when voices are left out.

Now I’m running for Wyoming City Council to make sure our local government reflects our lived experiences. As an advocate and organizer, I know how important it is to shift who’s at the table so our communities aren’t just represented, but uplifted. I’m ready to lead with action, reconnecting residents to City Hall and making sure decisions are made with us, not for us.
